Full Job Description

Reporting directly to, and deputising for, the Trust Safeguarding and Early Help Lead, the Safeguarding and LAC Support Officer will play a a critical role in ensuring our academies meet all regulatory standards with regards to safeguarding and Looked After Children. Working closely with individual academy safeguarding teams and Designated Teachers, you will champion safeguarding at a senior level and support all operational aspects of safeguarding across the trust, including development, implementation and compliance, ensuring all HSAT's procedures and practices are operationally sound and in accordance with both existing guidance and requirements, as well as best practice. This will include case management and investigative work and experience of working with external partners such as the local authority and local safeguarding board. You will be a credible professional and be able to communicate effectively to a range of audiences including children, families, and external
multi-agency organisations.

HSAT Central Team

Applicants will have an NVQ level 4 or equivalent qualification and/or a minimum of three years' experience in an educational and safeguarding environment.
