Full Job Description

We are looking for a Safeguarding Lead to ensure that all safeguarding policies and procedures are known and implemented as appropriate. Working with the DSL, the Safeguarding team and all Academy staff, you will:

  • Support the development of safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Provide training and guidance for all staff across the Academy
  • Ensure safeguarding concerns raised by staff are accurately recorded and dealt with promptly according to Academy policies and in line with the Keeping Children Safe in Education document
  • Assist in the coordination of referrals, arranging action and reviewing services for students
  • Ensure procedures, systems, structures, resources and personnel are in place to promote the welfare and protection of students and support vulnerable families
