Saltley Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding Manager to lead our safeguarding team and ensure the well-being of our students. We believe that safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a passionate Safeguarding Manager to champion this critical area.,

  • develop, implement, and monitor safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
  • lead and manage the safeguarding team, providing guidance, training, and support to staff
  • act as the key point of contact for safeguarding concerns, liaising with external agencies and coordinating support for students and families
  • conduct risk assessments and maintain accurate and confidential records
  • promote a culture of safeguarding across the academy, including delivering training sessions and workshops

    proven experience in a safeguarding role within an educational or similar setting
  • in-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices
  • strong leadership and management skills with the ability to support and inspire a team
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external agencies
  • relevant qualifications and a commitment to ongoing professional development
