Safety Engineer

You'll join the Safety Services Group, where you will own and deliver tasks that ensure submarines and submariners go to sea safely. What you'll do:

• Safety Case Management: Provide support to Submarine Safety Case management processes.
• Technical Documentation: Author technical documentation related to safety matters.
• Innovation: Develop new safety innovations to enhance submarine availability and risk management.
• Safety legislation: Oversee compliance with safety legislation, such as Defence Safety Authority (DSA) regulations.
• Hazard Management: Implement Hazard Management and Hazard Identification and Analysis (HIA) techniques to identify and mitigate risks.
  
  Degree qualified or equivalent in a STEM discipline.
• Accredited by a relevant engineering institution, working towards accreditation, or a willingness to progress an application.
• Demonstrable experience working within safety engineering is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communications skills and experience of stakeholder management.
• A drive to own and shape your career development journey.
