An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic professional to join the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Team within Chesterfield College Group.

The role offers a unique opportunity to learn about safety management in wide range of vocational settings as part of the college's comprehensive curriculum including Engineering, Construction, Hair & Beauty and other specialist subject areas.

The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their occupation and hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum in Occupational Health & Safety.

The successful candidate would be required to work under the direction of the SHE Manager to provide a safe and healthy environment that maintains compliance with current UK legislation.

A flexible approach to working across a large site is required and the ability to engage with young people as well as adult staff is essential.

Experience of working in the industrial sector is desirable, but not essential.

Possession of a NEBOSH Diploma or an NVQ Level 5 in Occupational health & safety is desirable. If not, a willingness to work toward is essential and the ability to offer training skills for both staff and students will be required.
