Salaried General Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking salaried GP to complement our team of GPs and staff. Ideally we are looking to cover 4-6 clinical sessions which will include extended hours. The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients., The following are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels

• Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions


• Cover On call


• Carry out patient consultations within the surgery


• Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing


• Carry out home visits where necessary


• Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments


• Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams#


• All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
  
  We are based in Brierley Hill Health And Social Care Centre in the heart of Brierley Hill, Dudley. We have a practice size of 9056 patients.Our practice team includes 4 GP partners, 1 Nurses, 1 HCA, 2 PA's, 1 Midwife, 1 First Contact Physio and highly trained admin and reception teams. We have an additional clinical team that are working within the practice as part of the primary care network. This includes Listening and Guidance, Podiatrist, Dietician, Pharmacists, Mental Health Nurse.
