Full Job Description

Main duties will be the usual duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, including surgery and telephone consultations, occasional visits, making referrals as needed, dealing with queries, signing prescriptions, and reviewing and actioning patient test results and correspondence. We actively encourage and support special interests.,

  • Complying with all legislation applicable to practising medicine
  • Conducting physical examinations, tests or procedures to diagnose patients
  • Maintaining accurate medical records for all patients
  • Making recommendations for lifestyle changes to improve the patients quality of life
  • Prescribing medication, treatment or therapy to patients
  • Explaining test results and medical procedures to patients, The successful applicant will work closely with three doctors, two GPAs, two practice nurses and our dedicated non-clinical team. They will also work alongside physiotherapists, dieticians, pharmacists and our Social Prescribers, all supported by our excellent management team, who like us are committed to a healthy work-life balance.

    We are a highly motivated and friendly team, committed to providing excellent care with continuity of care being a priority. We have a family oriented and personalised approach to our patients. We hold weekly clinical meetings and often meet informally for catch ups and to discuss clinical problems. In short our successful candidate will feel supported and very much part of a team.

  • GMC Registered, not subject to suspension;
  • Qualified General Practitioner;
  • Currently on a CCG performer list
