Situated in stunning locations nationwide including Heythrop Park in the Cotswolds, Studley Castle in Warwickshire, Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire and The Runnymede on Thames, each hotel offers its own personal character that makes every Warner Hotels stay unique. As a Sales & Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales across the Holiday shop as well as Group and Coach channels across the Warner portfolio, working alongside marketing to drive new guest acquisition and managing relationship with the central revenue managers to ensure optimised revenue channels. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership: Indirectly support onsite Sales Managers and Group and Coach team by equipping them with essential tools and resources. Collaboration with Marketing: Partner with marketing teams to create and execute effective channel sales activities and campaigns that align with business goals. Training & Development: Partner with L&D to develop and implement training programs to develop and enhance technical and behaviour sales skills within the team. Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop comprehensive data and analytical reporting to monitor performance and identify opportunities for growth. Incentive Schemes: Collaborate with reward team to design and implement incentive schemes that maximise team performance and engagement. Revenue Generation: Drive revenue through partnerships with coach operators and enhance overall channel performance. Improve data capture and overall coach proposition. Group and Coach cross-working: Ensure there is a link across coach and group bookings and that communication across channels supports revenue and hotel operations. Drive sales through maintaining and building relationships with Coach operators, whilst identifying new growth opportunities. Revenue optimisation: Work closely with the Revenue Director to optimise fill curves and yield strategies and ensure that Hotel teams are actively involved in driving their hotel performance. Guest Acquisition: Collaborate with marketing to ensure campaigns effectively achieve guest acquisition goals while adapting to tactical trading needs. Central Liaison: Act as the primary contact for hotel sales manager queries, feedback, and ideas, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. System Improvements: Provide feedback on systems and processes to support revenue enhancement initiatives.
- Proven experience in sales management within the hotel industry, with a focus on group sales and partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering relationships with internal teams and external partners and matrix way of working.
- Excellent experience in revenue management including yielding, distribution and optimisation.
- Good experience in revenue systems and data analytics and reporting.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and using insights to drive sales performance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
