Job Description At Sage, our sales force is the driving engine of our business. To enable them to concentrate on their core responsibilities, they require exceptional support. We are excited to offer a new opportunity within our Order Operations team, which plays a key role in supporting sales functions by processing orders for both direct and indirect customers. In this position, you will also handle various cross-channel administrative tasks while ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered to all stakeholders.

This role is a hybrid position based in our Newcastle office, where you will be required to work on-site every Wednesday and Thursday. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues who are based in various locations across Europe.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be team-oriented with a high level of dedication, and have a strong customer focus. They should also demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a flexible attitude, and an outgoing personality.
Key Responsibilities On a day to day basis, you will be required to carry out a range of varied and changeable administrative tasks such as, but not limited to:

  • Working in conjunction with Account Managers and Partners to process orders and invoices where required

  • Managing customer & Business Partner correspondence into the sales department via the inboxes and actioning according to departmental processes and guidelines

  • Checking the accuracy of sales quotations, invoices and orders which have been placed to ensure an exceptional customer experience and high quality & accuracy of data within our systems for reporting purposes

  • Checking the accuracy in critical information while also maintaining and updating sales and customer records


  • First 90 days snapshot:
    Initially, you will receive training and upskilling on the systems and processes crucial to your success in the role. This will begin with the order management process and progress to provisioning.

    Who you'll be working with:
    Under the guidance of a Team Leader, you will collaborate closely with other Sales Administrators who handle various products and portfolios. Your primary stakeholders will include the Sage Intacct sales team, Sage business partners, and customers.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
