Full Job Description

A vacancy has arisen within our Mobile Crawler Cranes Sales department based in Biggleswade for a Sales Administrator. The role contributes to the success of Liebherr - Great Britain Ltd MCC Department by providing administration support to the external sales team whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times and working within the Company's key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.,

  • Effectively operates the MCC Sales operation system SAM
  • Collating information to support quotations and orders
  • Supporting external sales team with back office functions and assisting in customer management as instructed.
  • Liaise directly with customers to provide support on various topics, including but not limited to, issuing of invoices, deliveries of machines and equipment.
  • Effective communication with all MCC factories.
  • Responds to correspondence as necessary for the department
  • Accurate construction of internal and external invoices using all relevant supplied information.
  • Filing and organising documentation in a manner that facilitates easy retrieval and in accordance with the company systems / audit requirements.
  • Support the General Manager with data collection and creation of reports.
  • Perform and communicate in a manner that builds on the strength of the Sales/ After-Sales team, Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd, the Group and customers.
  • Supports the sales team with project coordination of new, used and rental machine sales.
  • Required to assist with the planning and administration of general travel requirements including exhibitions, training, and factory visits when and if required
  • Maintain spreadsheets
  • Undertake training as required by the company from time to time, both at the workplace and overseas based.
  • Undertake some or all of the duties of other MCC administration personnel when assistance is required.
  • Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post.

    Experience in a similar role
  • Experience within a sales background
  • Strong customer service ethic with a positive and pro-active approach
  • Good effective communicator at all levels
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
