Full Job Description

Pitman Training are recruiting a 'hot shot' salesperson with ample experience in soft selling but the flexibility for diversifying in terms of job function. A warm and friendly personality is key for this role and you will need to have a genuine interest in people, with exceptional relationship management experience. You will be required to interact with private student prospects as well as liaise with corporate leads, which means dealing with company finance, HR, training or learning and development personnel. It is therefore essential that you have experience in seeing through soft and nurtured sales, but also in managing both B2C and B2B relationships.

Following our comprehensive training programme and with a greater understanding of our products and software systems, there is an opportunity to gently work your way into sales enabling you to hit the ground running. It truly is a remarkable experience advising prospective clients on the best training to either upskill within their current workplace, change career direction or progress further within their chosen field of work.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Handling incoming enquiries through multiple lead generation sources

· Advising suitable training programmes

· Advising potential students on suitable study programmes during face-to-face consultations and those held virtually

· Maintaining relationships with B2B and B2C clients

· Conducting initial reviews with students to check their progress

· Following up prospective clients to close sales through a structured sales process

· Work towards monthly sales targets

· Working closely with the learning coaches to handover encourage referrals & upsell

· Updating and maintaining sales forecast spreadsheets

· Be able to work independently and use own initiative

· Enthusiastic, open team player

· Confident in performing face-to-face and virtual consultations

· Pro-active in sourcing and developing local opportunities

· Numeracy skills - understanding of profit margins

· Highly IT literate in IT

· Excellent people & relationship building skills

· Strong grasp of written and spoken Business English

· Professional appearance

· Calm and compassionate nature

· Able to work well under pressure

· Can-do attitude and willing to go above & beyond to deliver results

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,500 moving to £28,000 after a successful probationary period

25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

Plus generous commission package, uncapped bonus and OTE: £44,000
