Full Job Description

We've got an exciting opportunity for a Sales Advisor to join our Development team, where you'll be responsible for delivering a professional and customer focused new homes sale service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established sales team for 18 months and help us to achieve our ambitious goals whilst growing your sales experience within a leading Housing organisation! As a Sales Advisor, you'll be the main point of contact for customers looking to purchase our new build Shared Ownership properties. Liaising closely with buyers, Developers and the wider Sales and Development team, you'll convert customer enquiries into property sales, secure reservations, exchange of contracts whilst achieving sales targets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing sales leads through the end-to-end sales process, ensuring timely communication and a brilliant customer experience throughout.
  • Building honest and professional relationships with buyers to successfully match customer needs to our properties.
  • Conducting personal appointments, viewings and home demonstrations across the Midland Heart portfolio, ensuring properties are secure, clean and well presented.
  • Attending promotions, open day launches and special events held on Midland Heart sites as well as external sites.
  • To carry this role out successfully, candidates must hold a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business use. Our plots span a vast geography, including but not limited to, the East and West Midlands which you'll be required to travel across. You can expect to be working from various Midland Heart sites most of the week, whilst also being available to work from our Birmingham (B15 1LZ) and Hinkley (LE10 1QZ) offices when required. We welcome applications from candidates who can work Monday to Friday and/or Tuesday to Saturday - please be aware, you must be willing and able to work on a Saturday to be considered for the role.

    Our Ideal Candidate? We are seeking a motivated individual who is able to work on their own initiative and takes pride in delivering a brilliant customer experience. You will also demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Math's & English Grade C/4 or above.
  • Experience of delivering the end-to-end property sales process within a relevant environment, such as a Housing Association or an Estate Agents.
  • Property sales experience within a targeted sales environment with proven success of achieving sales - experience of selling Shared Ownership properties would interest us but is not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you are highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
