Sales Assistant

Our Charity Shops help fund care and well-being services for older people living at our each of our locations. By raising money our Charity Shops help build retirement villages and all kinds of community activities for older people today and campaign to make life better for us all in the future.
ExtraCare does not participate in the current "UK Visa Sponsorship" scheme, and we would not be able to facilitate sponsorship.
What will you do as our Sales Assistant?
+ Achieve maximum sales at all times.
+ Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service.
+ Ensure high standards of merchandising and cleanliness are maintained throughout the shop.
+ Support the shop/deputy manager to actively promote the Gift Aid scheme adhering to the policies, work instructions and HMRC guidelines.
+ Ensure all stock is consistently priced in line with policy.
+ Ensure there are adequate stock levels on the shop floor and that stock is rotated according to company guidelines.
+ Assist in the day-to-day supervision of volunteers.
+ Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers.

If you have experience in Retail, we have the perfect opportunity for you!, + Will ideally have previous retail experience and experience of cash handling.
+ Have knowledge/experience of administrative duties.
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Be a team player with good organisational skills.
+ IT literate and numerate, plus good communication skills

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust are recruiting for a dedicated part time Sales Assistant to work alongside the Shop Team, at our Charity Shop in our Sinfin store, based in Derbyshire.
