We have opportunities to join us as a Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing Agent within our Ground Operations team! Our Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing team play a crucial role in ensuring that a fantastic customer service is delivered to our all-important customers at the airport. - Help our customers with flight bookings and additional product sales
- Work to resolve customer enquiries such as flight changes and escalated queries
- Monitor the customer queues and queue times to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards and operating procedures.
- Offer a dedicated service to ensure we return items to their owners as quickly and efficiently as possible using World Tracer (our Baggage Tracing System).
- Effectively support our customers, arranging alternative flights, accommodation and transfers in times of disruption and delays.
- Communicate effectively with our customers at all times, demonstrating a friendly, professional approach, ensuring every customer feel like a VIP This is a varied and fulfilling role with operational impact and will play a vital part in ensuring we achieve our Sales and Customer Satisfaction targets. As we are always on hand to help our customers, this position involves working on a rostered shift basis and requires flexibility to support our flight programme. This is a rostered role that requires shift working, so flexibility is required - shift patterns are a rolling shift pattern of 4 shifts on, 2 rest days off . Shifts will include very early starts, late finishes, working weekends & bank holidays . What Skills & Experience will you need?
- Be able to demonstrate a proven track record in handling customer queries in a fast paced, airline or travel environment.
- Have a genuine passion for delivering great customer service
- Have previous experience of successfully meeting sales targets would be beneficial.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Outlook and Excel, with good numeracy and communication skills.
