Full Job Description

Working within the Ingenuity function of Sales Development, you will be tasked with opening up new business opportunities with the world's most successful ecommerce brands, sitting within the Beauty, Retail or CPG space.

Becoming an expert in the ecommerce space and positioning THG Ingenuity in the market, directly targeting key clients in order to fundamentally propel the business forward in our ambitious sales goals.



What will I be doing?

  • Lead Generation: Identify and contact senior and C-suite decision-makers at high-growth and enterprise sized brands within set verticals to generate leads and opportunities.


  • Strategic Outreach: Execute targeted outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone, referrals and attending events.


  • Client Pitching: Professionally articulate THG solutions, delivering engaging and informative client presentations that help uncover key opportunities.


  • Objection Handling: Overcome objections to achieve and exceed quality over quantity metrics.


  • Collaboration: Work both independently and as part of the wider team to help nurture and close deals.


  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, offering valuable insights, guidance, and reassurance., When Alex joined THG Ingenuity as a Sales Development Representative, their dedication and strategic thinking quickly set them apart.     Sales Experience: Varying sales experience will be considered, with a focus on being able to show a good degree of outcome related, people-skills.


  • Prospecting Skills: Comfort and confidence in learning to prospect into C-level and senior decision-makers globally.


  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build new relationships and add value to clients.


  • Commercial Awareness: Stay ahead of market trends, product knowledge, and perceived competitors.


  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate solutions professionally.


  • Enthusiasm and Drive: Energetic, passionate about high performance and personal success. Able to prove this within your own experience (Grades/Sports/Extra-curricular).
