Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our UK Mid Market Sales Org. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, managing a team of inside sales representatives, and collaborating with other departments to achieve overall business objectives., 1. Leadership and Team Management: + Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing i sales team to achieve individual and collective targets. + Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages continuous improvement and professional development. + Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback. 2. Sales Strategy and Planning: + Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. + Collaborate with the executive team to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives. + Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. 3. Sales Operations: + Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. + Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track, measure, and report on key performance metrics. + Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize sales processes. 4. Client Relationship Management: + Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. + Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives that drive customer engagement and lead generation. 5. Training and Development: + Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. + Stay abreast of industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques, and share insights with the team. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: + Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience. + Communicate effectively with the executive team to provide updates on sales performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 3+ years experience leading a team in enterprise software sales or equivalent
  • Experience managing managers a plus
  • Experience leading successful mid market sales in the B2B and SaaS market
  • Experience overachieving on goals
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • A passion for coaching and developing earlier in career sales teams
