Full Job Description

The Real Estate Capital Formation Team takes responsibility for the client and product management of the real estate business, including coordination of the sales and marketing of all the funds, separate accounts, joint ventures and direct/co-investments of Schroders Real Estate. The team comprises c.20 people globally with the majority based in London. We work closely with our colleagues in the RE investment teams, fund operations and distribution globally. What you'll do

  • Lead the business design, implementation and reporting of global pipeline, fundraising activity and client servicing operations within Salesforce and Seismic.
  • Establish commercially minded processes and solutions to deliver high quality, accuracy, and consistency across sales and product marketing operation activities (Institutional and Wealth).
  • Create and own suite of management dashboards and KPIs for departmental and individual fundraiser performance measurement.
  • Risk management: Implement solutions to efficiently reduce compliance risk in product marketing and to monitor client redemption risk.
  • Produce business performance content for the Executive Committee and departmental Townhalls.
  • Develop and deliver against strategic departmental digitalisation roadmap in partnership with senior leadership and IT.
  • Deliver regular training and ad hoc support for the fundraising team on Salesforce, Seismic and compliance processes.
  • Partner with departments across the business to achieve organisational objectives; fund management, product, marketing, compliance, IT, research, HR.

  • Programme manager for Seismic implementation and CRM insights integration with Salesforce.
  • Standardisation of sales processes.
  • Initiation of probability-weighted pipeline and forecast reporting.
  • Custom Salesforce meeting notes solution.
  • Custom Salesforce marketing compliance solution, reducing risk through opportunity red flag alerts.
  • Client case-management solution for Client Services team.
  • Lead on CRM protocols for regional placement agent collaborations.
  • Global team Sales Pitch training programme with external provider.

    This position will suit somebody who is well-organised and capable of multi-tasking as you will be running multiple projects simultaneously involving both the investment team as well as other members of the global real estate team around the world. Teamwork and good communication skills are essential characteristics.
  • Many of the tasks will be relatively time-critical and so prioritisation and a willingness to seek guidance to meet deadlines will be important.,
  • Good quality university degree and ideally some form of post graduate qualification
  • Keen interest in private assets - and particularly real estate-investment markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to form good working relationships internally with colleagues in relevant teams as well as with third-party service providers and investors to run complex projects
  • Fluent in English
  • Sound financial understanding and at least basic modelling skills
