  • What you'll be doing :
  • Reacting to all incoming enquiries through our system Collins, over the phone, by email or in person.

  • Produce accurate timely reports that meets the needs of the S&E Manager to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads.

  • Arrange and carry out venue show rounds and attend proactive sales activity both in-house and externally when required.

  • Build relationships with new, existing and regular customers.

  • To host and coordinate bookings and reservations alongside the operational team helping with set up, the running of the event and being the main point of contact between the customer and the operations team.

  • Ensuring the customer experience is always to a high standard from the first enquiry to after the event.

  • Ensure pre-orders are always up to date, printed and communicated with the kitchen and management team as well as attending weekly events meetings.

  • Overseeing final details of events and bookings; ensuring all details, timings and finer information is accurate.

  • Looking forward at upcoming events; contacting the main organiser to upsell, confirm timings and running order of their event.


  • Updating collins and communicating with the kitchen and operations team.
  • Attend sales meetings, stepping in for the sales manager when needed and have an understanding of figures and sales plan / focus.

  • Upselling games to drinks and dinner bookings and vice versa.

  • Proactively building a local network with retailers and local businesses to ask for new and future business.

  • Ensuring table allocations are accurate to ensure maximising revenue opportunities including our in-house events.

  • Weekly sales meeting with the S&E Manager to run through weekly outcome, new weeks focus and action plan, any training or questions required.

    Excellent communication skills

  • Experience of Collins is preferred

  • Excellent organisational, administration and attention detail skills

  • Previous hospitality sales / M&E skills experience is beneficial

    £13.00 per hour, plus tronc & bonus
