Full Job Description

  • Work with B2B marketing to build out MQL & SQL funnel, developing lead scoring metrics and new business tracking
  • Identify sales goals and create sales plans/quotas for each team member
  • Work with each team member to understand their pipeline and opportunities
  • Develop goals around both inbound and outbound lead development
  • Ensuring we provide outstanding service to new and potential clients
  • Accurate reporting and documentation in Hubspot
  • SALES TEAM IN-PERSON EVENTS & ACTIVITY
  • Attend events to support the sales team with gathering and harnessing new leads
  • Allocate sales team activations for external conferences and events as well as in-person CFG-hosted events
  • Distribute and manage sales team qualified leads across the team in a timely manner
  • Support the team in spreading the word about our offering
  • SALES & COMMERCIAL DASHBOARDS AND REPORTING
  • Utilise data and dashboards to provide weekly insights to the team and wider stakeholders
  • Weekly report on team performance and team KPIs
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts and reports for key stakeholders (monthly and quarterly)
  • Maintain sales dashboards with the data and insights team
  • SALES TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • Ensure the team is diligently developing sales pipelines with clients - from lead through to delivery, meeting (and ideally exceeding) targets set
  • Implement a performance management culture and routine within the team to ensure your team can achieve their full potential through regular 1:1s, coaching, setting stretching objectives and providing regular feedback on performance against these objectives
  • Recruiting and growing your team for success
  • Manage team budgets and resources
  • SALES TEAM TRAINING & PROCESSES
  • Establish a more formalised sales onboarding and training plan for new starters
  • Develop an annual training plan for all team members, and learning and development opportunities
  • Ensure that all team members are following sales processes and requirements in Hubspot

    As a Sales Lead, you will have 3+ years of demonstrable experience in building and managing high-performing commercial B2B teams. You will have loads of great examples of how you have met targets on a sustained basis but equally, be able to showcase you have empowered your team to achieve great things.
  • This is a great role for someone ready to build upon our current success and continue to elevate our commercial team, scaling across regions and countries, using data and insights to drive decision-making and improvements. You'll be excellent at stakeholder management and have strong troubleshooting skills matched with the ability to build trust with a range of strong relationships internally. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for driving social impact and a desire to change the technology industry. You will be an excellent coach, mentor and communicator, think analytically and innovatively and be brimming with ideas to build on and improve our internal sales processes. You are someone who thrives off others' successes and a "win for a member of your team is a win for you" type mentality. You have a clear and transparent focus on performance development, team management and continuous improvement.
