Full Job Description

We are a small local company who are looking for a part-time sales ledger/payroll clerk to assist with the day to day running of the accounts/payroll department. The job will require 21 hours over 3 days Wednesday to Friday.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Checking the sales invoices.

Accurately input the invoices on to Sage.

Reconcile customer invoices with month end statements.

Assist with invoice queries checking and allocation of credit notes.

Liaise with customers on queries and discrepancies.

Create a report for month end customer balances.

Allocate customer payments

Proven experience in payroll software Moneysoft 123 advantageous

Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.

Knowledge of the building CIS scheme advantageous.

You must have:

Minimum of 5 years basic payroll / accounting experience.

Good communication skills and good telephone manner.

Experience in Email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and accounting software SAGE essential.

Legible handwriting is required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping is essential

Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
