Full Job Description

As SALES MANAGER your role will be to oversee the day-day management of your Sales Team , ensure your Team achieve sales targets and volume. You will be responsible for pro-actively driving sales growth by continually look to build and maintain relationships with an exciting sectors including Contactors , Manufacturers , Joinery Companies , Fit out Companies, Shopfitters and the Construction Sector.,

  • Drive sales to ensure that your Team achieve sales targets, volume & margin targets

  • Staff training & development

  • Stock Management

  • Liaise with supply chain team & supplier

  • Quoting and costing customer requirements

  • Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players

  • Maintain & expand your data base

  • Create monthly reports for the Management Team

    Face to face selling and negotiation skills

  • Experience within the Timber / Timber Products

  • Strong presenting skills

  • Self motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision

  • Effective communication skills

  • Customer focused with sound commercial skills.

  • Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook

    Our client is leading Importer & Distributor of Timber and Timber Products and due to expansion they are seeking a SALES MANAGER to lead and develop their Sales Team to promote their high end Timber and Timber Products West.
