Full Job Description

Your role will be to grow the business by generating new business opportunities and selling the benefits of our services. You will manage the full sales cycle, researching suitable businesses and contacting potential customers, mostly by phone but also door knocking and networking. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, target driven, and ambitious person, who is keen to grow their career with our business.   • Source new business prospects and opportunities. Contact prospective customers to sell the benefits of working with InXpress

  • Meet clients virtually or during sales visits

  • Work to sales targets relating to margin, activity and appointment setting

  • Manage the full sales cycle

  • Achieve & exceed monthly & yearly KPI's to support business growth

  • Create, manage & update new business appointments on a CRM system

  • Be the main POC for your customers to support with any issues they have with their shipments

  • Be a team player - as part of a small team we occasionally support each other in work outside of our usual job spec.

  • Demonstrating and presenting InXpress Tools and products

  • Maintaining accurate records

  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings

  • Negotiating rates

  • Consult customers and prospects on the best logistical solutions for their needs

    InXpress London is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team of experts in logistics and customer service. We're looking for a confident sales person who wants to grow with us and become a valuable asset to our team and business.

    Candidates must be highly reliable, highly organised, and comfortable making telesales calls from the get go.

    Experience in logistics is preferred. However, if you don't have logistics experience but you feel you would be an excellent fit for the role, and are willing to put in the effort to learn quickly, please apply. Full training on our products and services will be provided.,
  • 3+ years experience in sales or telesales (Ideally in logistics or freight industry)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Confident & proactive with an energetic approach to work, and a genuine desire to build a career in sales

  • Be highly motivated with a track record of hitting & exceeding targets

  • Must be reliable and trustworthy

  • Excellent written and spoken english

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office

  • Be able to handle objections/rejections from potential new customers

  • Be confident making cold calls

  • Be able to self-manage and plan effectively

  • Dedication to continuously learn to become a trusted industry expert

  • Tech Savvy

  • Occasional field sales/UK travel required

  • Knowledge of using CRM systems

  • Must be highly reliable


  • Bonus skills:
  • Drivers License

  • Project management skills, Logistics: 1 year (preferred)

  • Sales: 3 years (preferred)

    Base salary £25,000-£30,000 DOE + uncapped commission.

  • Performance related bonuses

  • Full time role, 40 hours per week

  • 28 days' paid holiday, inclusive of bank holidays

  • This is a predominantly office based job

  • On Target Earning Potential:
    Commission: 10% of margin

    On target earnings year 1: £35,000-£40,000
