As the Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of a thriving business, steering the sales department towards achieving ambitious targets while maintaining cost efficiency., As a Sales Manager you will lead a dedicated sales team, guiding them to success through mentorship and strategic planning and play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

Oversee day-to-day operations, including employee relations, performance management, and training new team members.
Set and achieve sales targets in line with business objectives, identifying opportunities through research and networking.
Ensure sales executives deliver first-class service, understanding customer needs and providing accurate product information.
Ensure adherence to finance and FCA regulations, and manage the handover process professionally.
Maintain high standards in a showroom environment, ensuring products are display-ready and information is current.
Create and deliver sales reports, manage sales administration, and oversee department performance.
Regularly review team practices, identify improvements, and implement changes under the guidance of the Board.
Maintain effective relationships across all levels, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication of updates and changes.

The ideal Sales Manager will possess excellent customer service skills, with a keen understanding of customer needs and expectations and have the following skills:

Proven experience in a sales management role, with a track record of achieving targets.
Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but is not essential.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
In-depth knowledge of sales processes, compliance regulations, and market trends.
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
Ability to work flexibly, including attending events outside of standard office hours.
Due to the nature of the business, this role will involve some weekend working.
