Full Job Description

We are currently going through exciting change and entering the UAV markets, as a result of this new journey for the business we are looking for a Drone Sales Manager. The successful person will be responsible for developing and generating new business opportunities with the existing reseller channels and developing new customers. They will also be involved in developing strategic sales plans, identifying new market opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the growth and profitability of the company's drone products and services. What you will be doing in this role

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organisational goals.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline with forecasting and reporting for the region, including rolling 90-day strategic plans for key accounts.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions from the company's drone product line.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the drone industry.
  • Vendor activity drive where appropriate when show space/launch days take place.
  • Has strong relationships with relevant vendor contacts at both distribution and reseller levels.
  • Has strong commercial awareness of competitor activity and market trends within the area.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to drive market growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in drone technology and industry regulations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

    Proven previous experience within a sales focused role.
  • Drone & UAV Industry experience.
  • Drone & UAV Product experience.
  • Experience working with and to customer and Vendor commercial terms.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Ability to lead by example.
  • Able to communicate well both written and verbally.
  • Ability to resolve problems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
