Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the International Strategy and Overseas Development team as Sales Manager. In this role, you will create and drive market strategy and activation with a detailed plan to grow the B2C and B2B sales performance of Rail Europe, to drive incremental volume. You will work with Rail Europe and manage/influence the relationship with distribution partners to ensure maximum awareness, exposure and training for the Eurostar product across all regions.,

  • Develop and implement sales activation plans by region to grow travel trade business (B2B) and B2B2C business.

  • Achieve pre-agreed sales targets consistent with commercial strategy.

  • Manage and influence relationships with distribution partners, ensuring maximum exposure and training.

  • Review sales performance continually and take action to drive profitability.

  • Analyse trends and behaviours within focus markets to ensure maximum ROI.

  • Identify training and information needs of partners, plan and implement necessary actions.

  • Ensure compliance with company mandatory training, particularly competition law, and prepare sales reports highlighting trends and solutions.


  • Collaborate with Sales Managers across regions for a joined-up approach.

  • Liaise with Product, Revenue Management, Pricing Teams, and International Digital B2C Manager to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Work with Social Media, PR, and Partnerships/MICE Managers to maximize market opportunities.

  • Write monthly sales reports to highlight opportunities and improvements.


  • Support a pipeline of new business opportunities and connect via direct distribution tools (API, Voyager, etc.).

  • Raise the profile of Eurostar in key markets through integrated market plans and attending trade and consumer events

    Have a master's degree in marketing/commerce or equivalent work-based experience.

  • Have 3+ years in distribution, commerce, marketing, travel trade, and corporate travel management.

  • Have advanced French and English language skills. Dutch and German are an advantage,

  • Have skills and familiarity in MS Office Tools, Contract Management, and Data visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau).


  • Be a clear planner and task oriented with strong commercial and analytical capabilities.

  • Have the proven ability to deliver tangible results.

  • Have excellent relationship-building and presentation skills.

  • Have strong knowledge of the travel industry.


  • Interest in sectors such as banking, consulting, luxury retail, OTA, and leisure.

  • Ability to work across multiple departments with good cultural awareness.
