Sales Order Processor

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Review and verify order information, including product codes, quantities, and pricing
- Enter orders into the system and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, and any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of all orders and related documentation.

GCSE's or 'A' Level Qualification/s including English, Mathematics and Science., Previous experience in order processing or a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Excellent spoken and written communication.
-Skilled using a computer and be familiar using Microsoft Word and Excel
packages.
-Ability to build relationships and liaise with people at all levels of the business.
-Flexible attitude with multi-tasking skills.
-Attention to detail is essential.

The Howat Group is located in Cortonwood and is easily commutable from the surrounding South Yorkshire area including Sheffield, Doncaster or Barnsley.

The Group consists of 5 independently operational businesses covering multiple disciplines including forging, heat treatment, testing, machining, and global distribution of advanced nickel-based alloys & special steels.

We are a rapidly expanding business with a wide and varied customer base supplying material to customers globally.

The role is full time, office-based working 5 days, Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm and 8:00am-2:30pm Friday. With interaction across all our sites and departments so there is plenty of variety through the working day!
