Full Job Description

As a Sales & Research Planning & Analysis (P&A) Analyst in the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), you will work closely with Business Management teams, Sales and Research Heads, and other key stakeholders to measure performance, provide extensive reporting, and identify growth opportunities. You will also collaborate with the technology team to enhance our reporting infrastructure and suite of analytical tools.,

  • Work closely with Business Management and Sales & Research Heads to design a reporting framework that facilitates analysis of complex data and supports well-informed decision-making.
  • Act as a strategy partner for Business Management and Sales & Research Heads.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of business and strategic reviews, as well as town halls.
  • Conduct competitor analysis using tools such as Coalition and McLagan.
  • Ensure the integrity of sales AFR numbers and research data, resolving issues in collaboration with relevant groups within the firm.
  • Collaborate with the Mumbai reporting team to deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reports, ensuring accuracy and business relevance.
  • Assist in the annual planning process for Sales AFR information, working closely with Sales Business Management and tying back to product LOB AFR plans.
  • Analyze and report on AFR, headcount, expenses, and product sales allocations for various reviews and management reports.
  • Develop and improve cross-product reporting, sales team reporting, and productivity analysis.
  • Prepare business reviews and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Connect with the Mumbai production center and other regional P&A teams to drive standardization and best practices across regions.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to achieve productivity and efficiency across Markets & Investor Services.

    Self-starter, able to take the initiative and operate independently on a daily basis.
  • Relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and demands, and to work on several projects concurrently.
  • Strong communication and partnering skills, comfortable engaging at all levels, especially with Business Managers and Sales Heads.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Moderate to strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QlikSense.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and client data management.
  • Knowledge of AFR control and investigation processes.
  • Experience in a centralized production center or regional alignment
