Full Job Description

You will sit within the Data & Analytics Sales and Account Management Business of LSEG. The Quantitative Analytics & Content sales specialist plays a vital role in ensuring our customer's fuel the full power of Refinitiv by discovering and implementing Quant workflow solutions while continuously providing scalable yet adaptable guidance throughout the customer's journey. Data today improves performance tomorrow. Gather requirements and translate into clear business opportunities that help our clients make better decisions while contributing to EMEA revenue. Better data better decisions better outcomes. Reinforce the best use of our Quants proposition both internally and externally within the wider data solution suite. What you'll be doing? You will be responsible for creating awareness, providing deep functional expertise, prospecting, selling, and growing the market. This is a quota bearing position that requires someone who is driven, tenacious and results focused.

  • Structure, negotiate and close deals
  • Proactively identify and develop a pipeline of opportunities
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and sales activities with weekly, monthly and quarterly focus
  • Develop sales strategy within your proposition and within your named territory in the UKI Provide insights and share Refinitiv thought leadership on their proposition with customers
  • Build strong relationships with relevant internal teams and align sales execution plans in order to improve customer satisfaction and sales success
  • Develop and maintain communication with a strong focus on teamwork to all levels of staff and customers

    expert understanding of financial market
  • knowledge of quant, data science tools sales and structured databases
  • understanding of data science basics, market data oriented background
  • strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
  • World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a "hunter" / strong sales 'closer'
  • Significant Product and Workflow Expertise (e.g. quantitative finance, data science); knowledge of data science technology (e.g. SQL, Python, R)
  • Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
  • Presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong social skills
  • Ability to organize and implement a sales plan
  • Executive presence
  • Consistent track record in a quota bearing sales environment
  • An understanding of Cloud Architecture (GCP, Azure, etc.)
