Full Job Description

This position is focused on supporting our Salesforce platform while assisting with a range of administrative tasks. It is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, possesses a solid understanding of Salesforce, and is eager to gain practical experience in a professional environment. The junior administrator will also provide support to our local parties in the use of our membership management portal, Lighthouse, as well as Eventcube and other systems., This role requires an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Salesforce, including the following areas:

  • Data Management: Ensure the integrity of Salesforce data by performing data cleansing and deduplication tasks.
  • Customisation and Configuration: Assist with the configuration of Salesforce objects, fields, and record types. Maintain workflows, validation rules, and automation processes.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and update reports and dashboards to meet business requirements, and manage CRM Analytics Dashboards while monitoring data quality.
  • Flow Development and Review: Build and review Salesforce flows to enhance process automation.
  • Troubleshooting: Respond to support requests and investigate bugs in the system.
  • Autonomy and Decision-Making The role offers a degree of independence, with the opportunity to take the initiative while receiving support from senior staff:
  • User Support: Provide basic troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues with minimal supervision.
  • Page Layouts and User Interface: Improve user experience by optimising page layouts and utilising Lightning Web Components to design department-specific homepages.
  • Management Consultation: Work independently on day-to-day tasks, but consult with senior leadership on more complex issues., Internal Collaboration: Work closely with different teams to understand their Salesforce requirements and offer the necessary support.
  • Training and Documentation: Document system configurations and changes, and help create training materials for users.
  • External Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners when required to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
  • Data Security and Confidentiality This role involves handling sensitive data, requiring a strong commitment to data privacy and security:
  • Data Management: Ensure confidential information is securely managed within Salesforce, complying with internal policies and regulations.
  • Risk Awareness: Understand the risks associated with data breaches and take measures to protect sensitive information.

    The role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to make informed decisions:
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve Salesforce issues, with the ability to suggest and implement improvements.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies within Salesforce processes and contribute to optimising workflows.
  • Creative Solutions: Use Salesforce tools to develop innovative solutions that address business challenges., Strong communication skills are essential, as this role involves working with various internal and external stakeholders, Foundational knowledge of Salesforce (Salesforce Administrator certification is advantageous).
  • Experience in data management and ensuring data quality.
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data loaders or similar tools is a plus., Experience with Salesforce Lightning.
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce automation tools like Flows.
  • Previous experience in a customer support role.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification., Experience with Own Backup and Archiver.
  • Experience with testing complex automated processes.
  • Familiarity with Lighthouse.
