As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer at IU Group, you will develop and execute advanced solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate marketing requirements into robust technical solutions. You will optimize platform performance, ensure seamless data flow, and maintain data integrity while adhering to best practices. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional passionate about leveraging technology to solve business challenges and enhance marketing automation.Your tasks

  • Develop and implement solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud for high-quality customer engagement and marketing automation.
  • Utilise tools like AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs to deliver personalised content across multiple channels.
  • Translate marketing requirements into technical solutions within the platform.
  • Build and maintain data extensions, custom reports, and segment strategies for efficient data usage and optimised campaigns.
  • Design and maintain automation workflows using Automation Studio and Journey Builder for multi-step campaigns.
  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems using APIs and other tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and security, complying with data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise processes for a scalable platform experience.
  • Stay current with Marketing Cloud updates, implementing new features to enhance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align functionalities with broader company objectives.

    Proven expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development, including hands-on experience with AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML/CSS, and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Proficiency in integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Ability to translate marketing requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Experience in Agile environments, ensuring continuous project delivery.
  • Solid understanding of data management, including segmentation and relational databases.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for staying current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing automation technologies.
