Full Job Description

  • Consult on the business process design for the functional area, using as much standard SAP as possible whilst achieving business requirements
  • Resolve current problems, business issues and recommend future improvements in line with the business strategy
  • Design, develop and maintain business processes with minimal direction from configuration owners in the SAP landscape
  • Perform prototyping of new functionality
  • Develop detailed and complete functional specifications within the SAP landscape
  • Assist the business in execution of user acceptance tests for new requirements and regression test existing functionality
  • Work with developers to perform unit testing of complex configurations and enhancements developed. Work with multiple teams to define and perform extensive business tests
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other consultants to ensure seamless integration and data consistency
  • Execute risk analysis and mitigation
  • Perform evaluations of new SAP functionality and upgrades to existing functionality within their area of responsibility
  • Project manage small business / technical deliveries
  • Collaborate with the project management office to deliver business led projects
  • Review the design and configuration work of other internal and external consultants to identify and resolve integration issues with related functionality
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the team, facilitating their professional growth and development within the team
  • Maintain accurate documentation of SAP systems and business procedures whilst ensuring Epson IT standards are adhered to
  • Create / update user documentation to support all projects / changes where applicable

    Demonstrate extensive hands-on configuration experience in all areas of Logistics Execution (LE) and Material Management (MM).
  • Expert in business process and can provide sound advise to the business community on best practice with SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and Material Management (MM).
  • In-depth knowledge & experience in Integration of Logistics Execution (LE) with Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), Customer Service (CS) & Plant Maintenance (PM), Warehouse Management (WM) and Production Planning (PP) modules.
  • Extensive knowledge of decentralised, lean, and full warehouse management and it's configuration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in defining and implementing SAP Procurement processes and release strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the configuration and management of both incoming and outgoing iDoc messages
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full end to end supply chain including transportation and the impacts on business continuity.
  • General:
  • An understanding of how complex matrix organisations operate (international experience an advantage).
  • Proven project management skills which can be utilised delivering multiple projects simultaneously. Preferably internationally.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate efficiently across the business.
  • Business Analysis skills to elicit the business requirements and transpose them into solutions to meet the business needs.
  • Self motivated. Able to work both independently and as part of a larger team to deliver key business requirements and processes.
  • Extensive testing experience with managing the various test cycles including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex issues utilising basic debugging skills if required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Involved with at least one end-to-end full lifecycle projects.
  • Experience with using Jira and Power BI to manage workload.
  • Experience of S/4 HANA Logistics and Materials Management is advantageous
