Satellite Software Design Placement (12 months)

As part of this internship, you will be involved in a flight programme as part of a multi-disciplinary team working to ensure that a complex system comprising digital hardware and software components in space and on the ground comes together to meet all of our customers' needs. This will involve the development and application of sophisticated software to simulate, control and test our new product designs. Typical activities include:

• Control software development and validation;


• Integration of software with satellite digital hardware;


• Simulation modelling of satellite digital systems.
  
  Working towards a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline with a strong software content;


• Proficiency in C, Python or similar software programming languages;


• Enthusiasm for digital electronic technologies;


• Initiative to find creative solutions to complex technical problems;


• Desire to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team environment;


• Quick learner, capable of absorbing a wide range of skills and expertise., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
