Full Job Description

Our dedicated team of frontline Operatives can often perform up to 700 repairs a week, across all our properties. As such, we need an excellent team of organised and reactive schedulers to make sure they get where they need to be, with all the information they need. Officially known as Planners, the team are the backbone of our responsive and service repair service. Working with around 15 Operatives a day, you'll manage their schedules and workload, booking in jobs in their area and making sure their travel between sites in efficient and minimal. You'll also work closely with our tenants, taking calls when needed, prioritising emergencies, and reacting quickly to move appointments around so that jobs are completed in a timely manner. If you are organised, can think on your feet, and love problem solving, this is will be an excellent and rewarding role for you. You'll join a close knit and friendly team, with the option to work from home 4 days week. Training will be provided and there is ample opportunity for career progression both within the team, and the wider business. Please note, this is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

  • Excellent customer service skills and great communication.
  • The ability to deal with difficult situations and make quick decisions
  • A standard of education equal to GCSE's (inc grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent experience)
  • Experience of diary management
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload in a responsive and changing environment
  • Microsoft Excel/Word knowledge
  • Experience with Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) and QL would be a huge bonus
  • Although it is not essential, it would also be hugely beneficial if you had experience within social housing or a local authority.
