Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join the Housing Service Team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week including one weekend per month. The standard hours for this position are 8am-6pm however there can be flexibility with the start and finish times.

We are looking for someone with a friendly and happy demeanour, who is easy to approach and be able to chat easily with customers. You will act as the first point of customers of the service and will act as a link between the Association and the customers.

You will be required to -

Carry out resident welfare checks and raise safeguarding concerns when necessary.
Respond to any emergency alarm calls from customers.
Check the building for any repairs and report these as required.
Oversee the service to ensure the smooth running.
Involve the residents in activities within the scheme and promote social inclusion.
Carry out regular Health and safety procedures and checks and make sure these are recorded correctly.

Previous Scheme Manger or Warden experience is desirable but not essential.
