Full Job Description

North Star Academy Trust is a small multi-academy trust that was set up with the ambition to improve the SEND provision in the South West and provide as many young people as possible with a bespoke, specialist education that is tailored to each individual's needs. We are a small but growing Trust, we currently consist of 3 schools including both Primary and Secondary provisions and we have a fourth school opening in September. We are seeking to recruit a personable, reliable, enthusiastic and efficient Administrator to be responsible for our busy school reception office.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, the role is term time only, including inset days with one extra week to be worked in the Summer holidays in order to prepare for the new academic year (40 weeks). Your main place of work will be at North Star 240°, but you may be required to work at other locations within the Trust.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in the smooth running of our school, with responsibility for ensuring that pupils, staff, parents / carers, visitors and all persons who come into contact with the school are dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner. You will be expected to provide a high standard of customer service and a well organised and welcoming office environment. School experience is essential, ideally in a similar role. The post holder is expected to display calmness and professionalism at all times.

Grade 7 £24,702-£25,979 per annum, pro rata.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum. Actual salary £22,076 - £23,217 p.a.
