Full Job Description
The governors are seeking to appoint a Senior Business Assistant (maternity cover) to join our amazing team. This role is front of house, and you will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors. A broad knowledge of school-based packages, such as ParentPay and Integris is essential. The successful candidate will be able to multitask, communicate effectively with all stakeholders and ensure safeguarding practices are secure.
Situated a short distance from the Peak District National Park and with easy access to both Nottingham and Derby city centres, Cotmanhay Junior School is an awesome school. The school is very well resourced, pupil behaviours are good and the school staff dedicate themselves to providing safe, happy learning for everyone, through a creative and exciting curriculum.
We want our pupils to inspire their community and help to make it an incredible place to live and learn, so if you have the skills and desire to be part of our wonderful team we would love to hear from you.
Safeguarding checks will be undertaken for all shortlisted candidates. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity related to children. A copy of the school's Child Protection Policy can be found on the school website. CVs will not be accepted without an official application form.
Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. Please email
for any further information.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
