Full Job Description

As School Business Manager you will be supporting the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and wider school team by delivering and managing the non-teaching aspects of school by:

  • Manage the daily running of financial (budget management), facilities and administration aspects of the school supporting the Headteacher and leadership team.
  • Smooth running of payroll, reconciliation and delivery of school census working to appropriate deadlines.
  • Be competent with systems such as SIMS and iTrent (although training will be provided)
  • Liaise effectively with Trust and appropriate external organisations in areas such as Payroll, Administration, HR and Health & Safety.

  • The role requires a dedicated, flexible and organised person who will approach work with a positive attitude, honesty, confidentiality and integrity. The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Management team and they will lead an administrative team who work effectively to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils. The role requires a strong communicator with a good sense of humour; someone who can demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team.
