We are looking for a School Business Manager lead across our Sheppey schools. Working closely with the Kent & Medway Hub and headteachers. This position will include the management of other members of the team. + The Successful candidate will be required to contribute to the development of the schools' values and vision and communicate these clearly and enthusiastically to all staff and other stakeholders. + The role will inevitably evolve and change as the school expands, the successful candidate must be willing to work flexibly and adjust to changing needs and priorities as the school develops. + The role will include Work with the Senior Leadership team to deliver an appropriate programme of professional development for all staff including quality coaching and mentoring, in line with the school's improvement plan and performance management. + This is a full-time, permanent position with a National NJC pay grade PO4 scale point 35-38. The successful applicant will have: + To oversee the recruitment, induction, probation and payroll for the schools within the Kent Hub. (Sheppey Schools) + Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with budget holders, suppliers and contractors. + Support the Heads of School in ensuring compliance in all operational areas to include Health & Safety. + Support the Heads of School with oversight of financial planning & budget oversight. + An in-depth knowledge of IT e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, Databases. To manage the accounts and assist in the preparation of returns and reports to comply with financial regulations. + Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. + Experience of working within a busy finance office environment. Will Adams is our smallest Kent & Medway hub school with only 45 children, but it is also home to our exceptional SEMH Assessment Centre and Apollo Training programmes which are commissioned by the Medway Local Authority.
