Full Job Description

The role is a Permanent, Part-Time, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

16 hours per week, 7am to 10am 4 x weekdays and 4 hours each Saturday morning.

Salary from: Competitive salary dependent on experience

We have a great opportunity for a School Caretaker to join our Operations Team. Proactive, reliable and friendly, you will be responsible for maintaining a good, safe internal and external environment for our pupils and staff.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Have a thorough knowledge and experience of site maintenance.

· Be competent at and enjoy completing caretaker duties which include portering, cleaning and maintenance such as; painting, moving equipment and goods, setting up rooms, general DIY, repair and make good, garden and site maintenance and preventative maintenance duties.

· Be pro-active, confident and friendly.

· Have the ability to gather information, problem solve and use own initiative.

· Be used to effectively organising your own time whilst being flexible enough to respond to urgent requests.

· Have good inter-personal skills, used effectively when interacting with pupils, staff and visitors.
