An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our catering team.

We are looking for someone who can, under the direction/instruction of the Kitchen Manager, support the kitchen team in providing a high quality food service which meets specified food hygiene standards.

You will:

· Serve using the cashless till system, ensuring the area is kept clean at all times.

· Communicate effectively with staff and pupils at the school to ensure a quality service is maintained.

· Support the cleanliness and hygiene standards within the food hall and seating area.

· Adhere to the requirements of Level 2 award in Food safety and Hygiene at all times (training will be provided).

· Maintain high standards of food hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with domestic and catering standards.

· Be involved in food preparation on a relief basis.

· Good numeracy skills.

· A Level 2 Food Safety Award or the willingness to work towards this.

· Ability to work under pressure.

· An excellent role model for young people and our staff.

Grade 3 £11.79 per hour (Annual Salary £5138) pay increase pending

10 hours per week (term time plus 5 days) 12:30pm - 2:30pm
