We want this to be a school that offers superb pastoral care for our students. We have a huge mental health and safeguarding team with five full-time Safeguarding Officers, and three full-time Pastoral Officers along with a Mental Health Lead, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Four Deputy DDSLs. We have an extensive counselling provision that we are proud of and are looking for qualified counsellors to join the team. As a counsellor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of our students who are most in need of help. You will work collaboratively with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead, as well as the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officers. We are looking for kind and caring members of staff, but with the determination of relentless organisation and follow-through to make sure that no child slips through the net. You will be a good communicator and above all else wish to make a difference in young people's lives.
