Newhouse Academy is expanding our counselling team, and we are seeking a qualified School Counsellor - CBT Therapist to work alongside our existing School Counsellor. Our counselling team plays a vital role in providing support and guidance to help students navigate challenges and thrive. As a School Counsellor, you will manage a caseload of students, offering confidential advice and support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one counselling to students aged 11-16, addressing their emotional and social needs.
- Creating a safe and welcoming environment for students to express their concerns.
- Liaising with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to ensure the well-being of students.
- Developing and implementing workshops and resources for students on mental health and well-being. In return, we offer:
