The School of Health and Society...
The School of Health & Society is a forward-thinking, dynamic school with a commitment to lifelong learning and real-world impact, with our award-winning facilities give students real-world experience and we have plans to further develop our estate to build on this success. We're keen to leave a productive legacy of helping people at all stages of their lives, improving their physical, psychological and social wellbeing. We are passionate about research and problem solving on a large scale, but we also remain focused on the all-important smaller details, which directly affect people on a daily basis. We are focused on developing our knowledge and understanding, so we can actively help people, our clients, to lead more productive, comfortable lives.
One of our key strategic goals is to advance equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across our workforce and create an inclusive work environment. We aim to foster a collaborative, innovative culture that adapts to client needs, with EDI at its core. In this role, you will: contribute to our thinking and be challenging on how Salford can transform the way it addresses equity disparities, embraces diversity and becomes more inclusive.
We are seeking a passionate and innovative communicator to join our team as a School Data officer with an enthusiasm for data analytics and who can be a reporting specialist within the school. In this role, you will analyse and interpret data from various sources, turning it into actionable insights that support key performance metrics and academic success. You will create impactful reports and dashboards, dynamically responding to reporting needs and delivering presentations to stakeholders across the organisation. You'll ensure data integrity, collaborate with academic and professional services staff, design simple in-house surveys, and provide actionable insights that enhance the student experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems through data, confident using Excel and presenting your findings. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
