Full Job Description

The post holder will ensure safe delegation of work to support staff andensure delegated work is completed to a satisfactory standard. Reportingback to the Team Leader any identified concerns and managing owntime and prioritising own workload.

To work as a member of the School Nursing team participating in health needs assessments as directed by the School Nurse Specialist Practitioner.

To undertake other duties commensurate with this grade of post in agreement with the relevant line manager.

Working within the realm of NMC 'The Code' (2018) and working to thestandards set in The Code (NMC, 2018).

To work as a member of the School Nursing team participating in theholistic health needs assessments as directed by the School NurseSpecialist Practitioner.

To develop and maintain clear communication systems with clients andtheir relatives, professionals and other organisations both statutory andvoluntary and the wider community. This may require negotiating/persuasive skills, presentation skills as well as counselling skillsincluding empathy.
