Full Job Description

Are you passionate about history, culture, and community? Westminster Abbey is seeking enthusiastic and welcoming individuals to join our volunteer team in the Visitor Experience, Learning, and Engagement Departments. School Learning Volunteers are the welcoming and informative face of the Abbey for visiting UK school pupils:

  • Assisting with guided tours of the Abbey for school groups.
  • After appropriate training, leading guided tours of the Abbey for school groups.
  • Assisting with workshops in the Education Centre.
  • Attending Learning Department training events 3 or 4 times a year.

    Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend one of two Recruitment Day's, which will be held on 14 and 23 November 2024. This will provide an opportunity to find out more about volunteering at Westminster Abbey and potentially best suited volunteer role. Any enquiries can be sent by email to:
