Full Job Description

Part-time 24 hours per week during term-time plus 5 additional days during school holidays

Hours 10:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Salary - 19,272 GBP per annum

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified School Nurse to join our excellent pastoral team.

The successful applicant will provide medical support services to all pupils and staff as required, ensuring pupil health and wellbeing in collaboration with the pastoral and counselling teams. This role supports the Senior Nurse by focusing on direct care and pupil health needs.

You must possess a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register, have proficient clinical nursing skills, with a focus on chronic disease management and basic first aid, knowledge of the Code of Professional Conduct for nurses and a systematic approach to accurate record-keeping and health documentation.

You must also have an awareness of safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality requirements and have the ability to contribute to health presentations and lessons. An organised person with good time-management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively is required.
