Full Job Description

  • To lead a team to deliver the Healthy Child Programme to school aged children in line with service specification
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of national and local priorities for children and families
  • To contribute to maintenance of quality and service improvement in school nursing

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated school nurse to join our Stockport School Nursing team and be part of our Stockport Family Integrated Service., The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable, approachable and effective team players. In addition, they will need to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of issues affecting children and families and how School Nursing Services work with families.

    Stockport School Nursing service is part of the Women, Children and Diagnostics Business Unit of Stockport Foundation Trust, and is also integrated with Stockport Council in a Stockport Family organisation. Stockport Family works collaboratively across professional disciplines in order to improve outcomes for children and families.
