Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our school team, supporting the health and well-being of our students. Responsibilities include safely receiving, storing, and assisting pupils in taking their medication, including administering emergency treatments. You will also support students with first aid, monitor for side effects, and maintain accurate records. Additional duties involve aiding in the planning of student care, liaising with parents and outside agencies, and contributing to the personal, emotional, and physical development of our students. This role requires a compassionate individual committed to ensuring the safety and dignity of all children.

To have experience with the administration of medication To have experience in the administering of First Aid To be able to keep accurate records To have a basic understanding of safeguarding children procedures. To have experience of working with a staff team. To understand the health needs of children and young adults aged between 5 and 19. To understand the expectations of a school. To have knowledge of children's developmental needs. To understand the varied needs of SEN pupils.
