Oxford House is a Montessori Nursery and Preparatory school for girls and boys aged 2.5-11 years. Founded in 1959, this intimate and exclusive school offers every child a complete education that puts a high emphasis on traditional values and the child-centred learning of the Montessori Method.

The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Receptionist to join our fantastic team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a high achieving school with well-motivated children and small class sizes. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, keen and enthusiastic, with high expectations of pupil progress. This is a Term time (+10 days) position working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.

About the role

To be based in the front of house reception, responsible for the general smooth running and administration of the school. To ensure a pleasant and tidy first point of contact for visitors, and deal with queries from parents, students, and staff. Also, to provide consistent, accurate, efficient, and effective support to the Operations Manager and to the Admin Team for the development and operation of the admin functions as directed by the Headteacher or Operations Manager.

Who we are looking for:

To be considered for this role you will have experience of working in a reception or office administration role, delivering excellent customer service. We would also expect excellent organisational, oral and written skills and the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work schedules and be self-motivated to achieve deadlines.
