• Champion a Culture of Safeguarding: Contribute to embedding a robust safeguarding culture across our school community, ensuring everyone is equipped to identify and report safeguarding concerns promptly and effectively.
• Enhance Student Well-being: Help develop students' confidence, resilience, and mental health awareness, empowering them to navigate online and offline risks.
• Make a Difference: Practice social work values and skills to improve the lives of Children in Need (CIN) and their families, taking the lead in statutory cases requiring a qualified social worker.
• Forge Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with various agencies and professionals, including parents, carers, health services, and educators, to deliver impactful support that enhances outcomes for children and young people.
• Continual Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying updated on legislation, research, and best practices to provide the highest level of support and intervention.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Assessing needs and providing appropriate interventions for children and families.
• Ensuring clear care plans for each child under your responsibility.
• Communicating effectively with children, families, and professionals.
• Upholding confidentiality and following safeguarding protocols diligently.
